New York State Assembly Legislative Resolution
New York State Asssembly passed a Legislative Resolution recognizing and congratulating Dr. Surendra Kaushik and Mrs. Helena Kaushik on the 1oth Anniversary of the College in Rajasthan, India. The Legislative Resolution No. 369 was passed on April 6, 2009. Hon. Assemblywoman Sandy Galef made the presentation of the resolution to Dr. Surendra Kaushik in the Assembly chambers on June 15, 2009.
Making A Difference Award
Dr. Surendra K. Kaushik, founder of Mrs. Helena Kaushik Women's College was honored with Making A Difference Award of the Children's Hope India, Inc.- a New York based charity- at its gala fundraiser on Sunday, Ovtober 11 at the Grand Hyatt at Grand Central in New York City. The gala was attended by some 600 people.
